Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage the full accounts payable process
• Work with SAP / SAP S/4HANA
• Handle high-volume PO and non-PO invoice processing
• Support vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve AP issues

Key Responsibilities

• Process and validate high-volume PO and non-PO invoices.
• Perform 3-way matching , coding, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Review invoices for approvals, tax treatment, documentation, and policy compliance.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Prepare payment proposals and execute scheduled supplier payment runs.
• Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations .
• Review AP aging reports and reconcile vendor statements.
• Create and maintain vendor master data in SAP .
• Verify vendor banking, tax, legal, and payment information.
• Identify and escalate duplicate or potentially fraudulent vendor records.
• Support internal controls and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in a high-volume or shared services environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payments, and 3-way matching
• SAP experience required; SAP S/4HANA preferred
• Strong Excel skills , including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position in Princeton, NJ during training, after that we are open to remote . Onsite presence may vary based on training, team needs, and business requirements.
