Position Overview We are seeking reliable and professional janitorial staff to work at a VA Hospital in New Mexico. This position involves maintaining cleanliness in a healthcare environment, which requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and a high level of professionalism. Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining all floor areas Dusting surfaces, vents, and fixtures Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and high-touch areas Emptying and removing trash and biohazard waste Disinfecting patient rooms and common areas Performing terminal cleaning of patient discharge rooms in compliance with hospital infection control standards Restocking paper products, hand soap, and supplies Following all safety and infection prevention protocols Shifts Available Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 10 positions available Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | 9 positions available Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 1 position available Requirements Prior janitorial or hospital housekeeping experience preferred Must be able to stand and walk for long periods Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs Must pass a background check for access to a federal facility Must demonstrate professionalism and discretion in a government healthcare setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
