Plant Reliability Mechanic — CNC, Hydraulics & Pneumatics

You keep machines accurate, safe, and ready to produce. If you love solving complex mechanical and electrical puzzles, this role in Alsip, IL puts you at the center of our operations.

What you’ll do

• Own safety: follow procedures, flag hazards, and contribute to a safe, orderly floor.
• Execute PMs and corrective work to keep CNC and manual equipment production-ready.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts to diagnose faults.
• Lead equipment installation, removal, and relocation projects.
• Interpret and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems; determine repair paths.
• Apply Lock Out/Tag Out every time you service machinery.
• Pitch in on other maintenance tasks that arise.

What you bring

• 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic disciplines.
• 3+ years maintaining CNC and manual machines; High School Diploma, Trade school certification or GED equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years troubleshooting/repairing hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, plus HVAC and general building systems.
• 2+ years reading blueprints/mechanical prints and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with micrometers, gages, meters, calipers, and other precision tools.

Where and when you’ll work

Onsite in Alsip, IL. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with weekend support as needed.

Physical & environmental conditions

• Industrial setting with noise, temperature variation, fumes, and chemicals.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; kneel, bend, climb ladders; work in tight spaces; walk/stand for long periods.
• Comfort at heights (e.g., scissor lift).

Pay & benefits

Starting pay will be $36.40 per hour

Pay Range: Starting pay will be $23.10 - $35.00 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.

Compensation decisions consider skills, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs. Geographic differentials may apply. Most hires are not placed at the top of the range; offers depend on individual factors.

• New employees are regarded as probationary for the first 60 working days of their employment.
